I started developing Signal Cycles in 2007 and launched the company in February of 2008. In a few short years Signal grew from garage studio to award winning bicycle design and fabrication company, specializing in custom bicycles and unique design commissions and collaborations. Over the years Signal received significant press including The New York Times, Core 77, CNET, Radavist, Pink Bike, Bicycling Magazine and numerous outdoor industry and product design websites.
Below are a few styles Signal was known for. Custom commuter bikes that blend modern technology with classic lines. I designed and fabricated the frame, fork, stem and custom racks, including all wood components. I worked with each customer to create their unique paint scheme, parts selection and assembly. These are truly one of a kind, utilitarian art pieces.
